Although all our test results over the past three years shows positive feedback concerning Phototex paper to adhere to any and all flat non-porous surfaces and safe removal with out damage or harm to the surface you placed our material on, we can not control the environment and circumstances of all applications. Therefore, please read the below factory test results and our disclaimer:
We have been testing our Photo Tex Material for outdoors use for over three years (our weather conditions are the same as the Eastern United States) and we can confirm positive results for outdoor use using the pigment, water and UV based inks. We currently have signs still hanging for over two years with some fading (25% after one year). The Photo Tex paper has remained in tact and well secured to a flat surface non-porous wall or building in all conditions. We do strongly recommend you place the Photo Tex Material on a flat, clean, dry surface for best results.
The new (S) series Photo Tex version concerning the Eco-Solvent Inks have given us mixed reviews and we do not recommend placing outdoors. The Solvent Inks seem to be lasting fine outdoors so far (3 months in testing).
In the SIT (spontaneous Ignition Temperature Test : ISO 871-1996) using a hot air furnace, even at 450 degrees Centigrade tex2ure® only just began to produce a dark smoke.
tex2ure® has complete confidence in the material to adhere without peeling or wrinkle on any and all flat surfaces and weather conditions.
But, due to the unknown variable conditions of where tex2ure is being placed or used: Photo Tex Group and all its affiliates representing tex2ure or can not guarantee that under any and all circumstance the material will stay completely in tact, and that no adhesive will remain on the surface when removed or that your surface will not adhere to the tex2ure paper. Reasons being: number of painted coats on your wall, age and type of paint used, dirt, undulation, dryness or dampness of your intended surface, no primers used and/or heat (making the adhesive more tacky) from the sun when removing off a window or surface.
If you are unsure of wanting to use tex2ure Paper on your surface, we advise you to test a small hidden area for best results. tex2ure® will not be responsible, for any damage of your surface or workmanship of material do to these circumstances.
